British parliamentarian reaffirms support for Pakistanis in UK Parliament


ISLAMABAD, Jul 25 (APP): British parliamentarian Jeremy Corbyn, former leader of the opposition and an eminent human rights activist, has reaffirmed his unwavering support for Pakistanis in the UK Parliament.
In a meeting with Member of the Punjab Assembly Sultan Tariq Bajwa, Corbyn expressed his commitment to more effectively advocating for the rights of Kashmiris and Palestinian Muslims, highlighting his dedication to these causes on international platforms.
During their discussions, pressing issues such as the Kashmir conflict and the plight of Palestinians were brought to the forefront, said a news release received here Thursday.
Sultan Tariq Bajwa seized the opportunity to address the misconceptions and realities surrounding human rights violations in Pakistan.
He elaborated on the legislative measures and initiatives undertaken by the current government to address these issues and shed light on the severe human rights situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
This meeting marked a significant step towards fostering a deeper understanding and cooperation between Pakistani representatives and British parliamentarians in addressing crucial human rights issues globally.
